Biography

Biography (third person): Hamdi Joudeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London, UK, in 2016 and 2011 respectively. He was a Research Associate in the Communications and Information Theory Group at the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany (2019-2020), and a Research Associate in the Communications and Signal Processing Group at Imperial College London (2016-2019). His research interests are in the areas of Information Theory and Wireless Communications.

Dr. Joudeh serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He previously served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters (2020-2023) and the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking (2017-2020). He was awarded a starting grant from the European Research Council (ERC) in 2023.
